How to care for Addá jewelry
1. Use professional jewelry cosmetics to care for silver: cleaning agents, polishing wipes. There are tools for both silver and gold plating.
2. Jewelry without stones should be thoroughly rinsed with running water after cleaning, wiped dry and wiped with a napkin.
3. Clean jewelry with stones so that the product does not get on the stone: the consequences of the chemical reaction can destroy the natural stone!
4. After cleaning, wipe the stone jewelry with a damp cotton swab / stick to remove excess product. Water should not get on the stones!
5. This is especially true for rings with light and transparent stones (rock crystal, rose quartz, etc.), it is STRICTLY IMPOSSIBLE to get them wet! The tarnishing of the silver that appears on the base from the water will be visible through the transparent stone, it will appear cloudy and unfortunately there is no way to fix it.
6. Do not store silver and gold plating together, this will oxidize the metal.
7. Do not carry jewelry in a bag/pocket without a protective bag/box/holder etc.
8. Before you put the jewelry in the box, don't forget to clean it.
Avoid contact of jewelry with water, cosmetics (such as cream, spray, hairspray, perfume, etc.), household chemicals. So they will please you longer!

How to treat and take good care of our products:
- Use professional jewelry cleaning agents and wipes specifically designed for silver and gilded products to take care of these items.
- If the product is plain and has no gems, wash it thoroughly using tap water, leave it to dry, and then wipe it with a tissue.
- When cleaning a piece of jewelry with gems, apply the cleaning agent to the entire surface of the jewelry but avoid getting it on the gems, as chemical reactions can damage them irreversibly!
- After using the cleaning agent, wipe the product with a wet cotton pad or bud to remove any excess cleaning liquid. However, be careful to avoid contact with water and the gems!
- If the item contains a light-colored or transparent gem (such as rhinestone or rose quartz), take special care and do not wet it at all costs! The silver substrate will darken after reacting with water and this can lead to the formation of dark spots. These spots may be visible through the transparent gem, and the gem will start looking cloudy. Unfortunately, these spots cannot be removed.
- Store silver and gilded products separately, as the metals can oxidize.
- Always use a protective bag, box, or holder to carry your products in a bag.
- Always clean the product before putting it away.
In addition, avoid any contact with water, beauty products (such as creams, sprays, hairspray, perfumes, etc.), and household chemicals. If you follow these steps, your Adda jewelry will serve you for a longer period!
Please note that the warranty applies to free jewelry cleaning in all Adda stores with no restrictions.
